The Warrick County Treasurer's Office is responsible for providing annual property tax bills, collecting property taxes, and reconciling all collections for settlement. The office also holds an annual tax sale of delinquent real properties and processes delinquent personal property and mobile home properties for judgement. In addition, the office signs mobile home permits and transfers after verifying that taxes are paid, and signs tax clearance forms for alcohol permits after verifying that taxes are paid.
IMPORTANT!
If you are making a payment within 30 days after the due date you owe penalties that may not be reflected in the totals online. Please contact the Warrick County Treasurer’s office, 812 897-6166, to obtain the correct amount due.
Spring Payment is due on or before 4:00 PM, May 10, 2024.
Fall Payment is due on or before 4:00 PM, November 12, 2024.
Credit cards:
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. A 2.5% fee is charged with a minimum charge of $1.75. The fee is not collected by Warrick County but by the payment processor Forte.
Visa Debit cards:
are charged a flat fee of $3.95. The fee is not collected by Warrick County but by the payment processor Forte.
Echeck:
payments are charged a flat fee of $1.50. The fee is not collected by Warrick County but by the payment processor Forte.
Phone payments:
call 877-690-3729 – JURISDICTION CODE 2407, please have the Duplicate # available, noted on the top middle of the tax bill. A 2.5% fee is charged with a minimum charge of $1.75. Echeck payments are charged a flat $1.50. The fees are not collected by Warrick County but by the payment processor Forte.
Banks:
the following banks accept tax payments, with the appropriate coupon and payment, starting March 1st, 2024 but not after May 10th, 2024
You do not need to be a bank customer to pay taxes at the banks noted above.

As required by Indiana state statute 6-1.1-23-1, the County Treasurer must send a Demand Notice to all taxpayers who have unpaid Personal Property Tax from the previous year. The Demand Notice shall also include applicable penalties, fees and collection expense. The taxpayer has 60 days to pay the demand or a judgment is issued known as “Certified to Court” and the collection process continues.
Warrick County has chosen to contract with American Financial Credit Services (AFCS) to produce, mail and collect the Demand Notices and associated fees and to be the collecting agency for all Certified to Court collections.
